We have Wardens talking about a lockdown. We have Wardens complaining about it being too excessive and taking a public stance against it. So, which is it? Would it kill you lot to send ONE CLEAR, CONSISTENT MESSAGE, for once?

It's absolutely pathetic. Honestly, I don't even care either way if there's a lockdown; I'd just rather know what I'm meant to do before I get tossed in Zero for "disobedience," or some such nonsense.

Oh, and thank you for washing the corridor with blood. It reeks now.

Would you like it any better if our conversations were all kept private? Wouldn't that be just as bad? We may not be giving a consistent message yet, but at least this way you get to see that something is being done, and that there is discussion going on.

Anyway, I would say the best thing for anyone to do at the moment is stay in their room, or somewhere safe, until this is under control.

Conversations are one thing, but public, contradictory orders are another.

Isn't that precisely what Morgan proposed, minus the words "lockdown"?

Morgan made the lockdown order without consulting any other warden. No matter who it is, security or otherwise, this system isn't supposed to be run by just one warden.

No, I don't think so, because it's a suggestion. You could leave your room and go wandering the halls if you wanted to. The real difference is that it can't be misconstrued as a punishment. The inmates who committed the crimes, who are playing that gruesome game, they're the ones who need to be punished; I don't want to give those inmates who are innocent a reason to hate us even more.

I agree. I believe the Wardens should have agreed upon something prior to making any orders. But right now, it doesn't appear as though the lot have you have truly agreed on anything; only a handful.

The inmates interested in playing aren't going to listen to a suggestion. I hope nobody else dies as a result of this madness. Still, I understand that it's difficult, and I'm... glad I'm not in your position right now.

Yes, we should have. Frankly, at the moment, we're on the back foot. The pressure of knowing that someone else could be killed is making this even more difficult for all of us. No matter how much we disagree, none of us want that. We're just doing the best we can. I know it's not perfect, but we're trying.

We're trying to determine who the main inmates involved are and get them out of the general population. Those who aren't involved will hopefully stay safe and with as many wardens in the halls as we can manage, I'm hoping we can avert more death. To die because of a game... It's crazy.

Thank you, Major.
